Specialties
I specialize in working with teens and individuals struggling with self-worth, life transitions, chronic stress, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and ADHD. Also, children going through challenges that affect their mental, social and emotional wellbeing.
Therapeutic Approach
I take a Person-Centered Approach. In our work together, my role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where I listen deeply, accept you fully, and support your own strengths and inner wisdom, helping you discover your path to healing and growth at your own pace.
I also integrate evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, somatic therapy, SandTray therapy, and play therapy to meet your unique needs.
-
CBT helps identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. Together, we work on shifting these patterns to promote healthier thinking and more balanced emotional responses.
-
This approach emphasizes your strengths and what is already working. Instead of focusing on problems, we concentrate on your goals and how to take small, practical steps toward achieving them.
-
In SandTray therapy, clients use miniatures and a tray of sand to create scenes that reflect their inner world. It’s especially helpful for expressing emotions that are hard to put into words.
-
This therapy uses play, toys, art, and storytelling to help children express themselves naturally and in a developmentally appropriate way. It creates a safe, supportive space where kids can process emotions, build self-esteem, and develop coping skills at their own pace.
-
Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body, helping you become more aware of physical sensations and how trauma or stress may be held in the body. Through gentle movement, breathing, and body awareness, this approach helps release tension and promotes healing on a deeper level.
